Denis has more than 30 years experience working as an experienced HR Management professional in the New Zealand environment with specialist knowledge and experience in:

• Employment Relations,
• Recruitment,
• Change Management for both downsizing and acquisitions and merger situations, and 

• Performance Management.

His corporate experience has been gained in the motor vehicle assembly, information technology and public service sectors. Since 2007 he has been an independent employment relations consultant providing employment relations services to employers throughout New Zealand. In that period he has also had a contractual relationship with the Employers & Manufacturers Association to provide employment relations services to EMA members in the Waikato. He now resides in paradise – the Bay of Plenty – and is looking forward to assisting BoP employers with any employment related issues they may have.

His working objective is to apply a pragmatic approach to problem solving when it comes to people management. He has vast experience with assisting organisations of all sizes, but mainly the small to medium sized variety in recent years, ensuring that they are compliant with all relevant employment relations legal requirements and to help maximize the potential of their people resources through people management best practice.

When not working, Denis enjoys the company of family and good friends, watching sport, listening to great music by Jethro Tull, reading a good novel and taking his old mate Sam (wirehaired Jack Russell) for a stroll along the beach.
